MY STORY

Four chapters. One through-line: I have always made things with my hands.

Chapter one

THE ARTIST

Melbourne born, Gold Coast raised - my father a builder who moved us north for the work. School was more doodles and drawings than schoolwork. I came to tattooing through graffiti and art, and I never really left either behind: murals, canvases and studies still sit alongside the machine.

In year eleven I was thrown out of school for fighting. I did not wait around. I went straight into tattooing.

Chapter two

THE TATTOOIST

Eleven months moving through Europe - conventions, guest spots, apprenticing wherever someone would let me. I came home in 2013 and opened Phresh Ink: three artists in Helensvale. Eight years later I moved it to Surfers Paradise. It runs fourteen artists now, across more than a dozen styles, with my wife Amy running the floor and a laser removal business alongside it.

My own portfolio leans heavy Japanese - hannya masks, samurai, dragons, full backs. That is not a costume I put on for a nickname. It is what I have been drawing for a decade.

Chapter three

THE FIGHTER

I started boxing at twenty-six, purely for fitness. Nobody would give me a boxing match, so I took an MMA fight with Eternal instead and knocked the man out in the first round. I was hooked!!
Six bouts followed - three amateur, 7 professional- now undefeated and active in BKFC the future is bright.

Chapter four

THE KAMIKAZE

I said out loud, before it existed, that I wanted to fight on a BKFC card in Australia. On 18 April 2026, BKFC came to Townsville for the first time - and I dropped Mick Whitehead three times before finishing him fifty-one seconds into the third.

Kamikaze - 神風 - means divine wind. It is the storm that arrives without warning and ends things early.

Next: a world title. The art funds the fight, the fight feeds the art, and Team Kamikaze is how you come along.
